About the Artist

I am a painter based in Morrisville, Vermont. Acrylic on wooden panel is my preferred medium, but my artistic interests include digital art, illustration, ceramics, and fiber arts, as well. Over the past decade, I have painted numerous portraits of people and pets. Currently, I work as the gallery manager at The Bryan Fine Art Gallery in Stowe, VT.

I am a graduate of Barnard College in New York City, where I studied psychology. My coursework gave me an appreciation for the intricacy of people's interior worlds, which in turn deepened my interest in portraiture. I have previously worked as a staff illustrator for the Columbia Daily Spectator, an illustration intern for Dwellness In-Home Psychological Services, a poster illustrator for the Stonestreet Comedy Hour, and a creative development intern for Armitano Domingo (then known as Botticelli Ceramics). I have also been featured in Ratrock Magazine.

When I'm not making art, I like to crochet tiny creatures, play cello, and experiment with gluten-free baking. You can find me on instagram at art_by_beatrice. I'm glad you stopped by!
